Rosalind Franklin University Launches Giving Tuesday Campaign to Support Free Healthcare Services for the Community

The annual season of giving reveals the transformational powers of empathy and solidarity. In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, 69É«ÇéƬ has launched a campaign to help raise donations for the student-led Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC) and , which provide free treatment and wellness education to the Lake County community. Services include primary care, vaccinations, podiatry, physical therapy, behavioral health counseling and health coaching. This campaign is currently underway and will continue through Monday, December 4, 2023.

"One of my favorite things about the Interprofessional Community Clinic is the dedication of our student volunteers to both our weekly clinics and to the expansion of our services," said current ICC President Caroline Madigan, CMS '26. "Students are really able to take ownership of their experience and gain valuable pre-clinical experiences while serving our community in an impactful way."

69É«ÇéƬ students are actively learning from the community, with the community and for the community. Support this vitally important work with a gift and help transform the future of health care — donations will be matched up to $5,000 until the $20,000 anonymous match goal is met.
