A model of service, clinical practice and student initiative

The Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC) is a pro bono clinic for the community as well as a unique and valuable clinical opportunity for 69É«ÇéƬ students. Founded in 2013 by students from the Chicago Medical School, the ICC is now led by students from the following degree programs working interprofessionally:

  • Allopathic Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Physician Assistant
  • Podiatric Medicine
  • Psychology

The clinic is open Thursday evenings from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and is housed in the Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics adjacent to the university campus in North Chicago.

On most Thursday evenings the ICC offers the following services to the uninsured at no cost:

  • Primary care medicine
  • Podiatry
  • Physical Therapy
  • Behavioral health counseling
  •  Health coaching

Students can become involved in many ways:

  • Be an active team member delivering patient care
  • Join the student organization, the Interprofessional Clinic Initiative (ICI) that leads and facilitates the operations of the clinic
