Ying Fang, PhD

Ying Fang, PhD
Assistant Professor

Dr. Fang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy. She has a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics. She obtained her PhD in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on improving bone health in people with Spinal Cord Injury. Dr. Fang completed her postdoctoral training at Northern Arizona University, where she implemented assistive technologies in neurorehabilitation. She was awarded NIH F32 Postdoctoral Fellowship and funded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Her long-term goal at 69É«ÇéƬMS is to develop and evaluate evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and musculoskeletal health for vulnerable populations.
