Dr. Leo Kelly is a board certified internist who has practiced and taught Internal Medicine for more than 30 years. He has also been a Hospital Director of Safety and Quality, the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (ALGH), the Institutional DIO at ALGH, and retired in 2019 after six years as the Chief Medical Officer of ALGH.
He received his MD degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine, his MHA from National Louis University, and he is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science as well as Adjunct Faculty at National Louis University.
