A staff psychologist at the Lovell Federal Health Care Center, Dr. Bair supervises residents in group psychotherapy. He has published about substance abuse and group psychotherapy, and has coordinated our practice oral board examinations for residents. Dr. Bair was a past director of the Lovell FHCC Dual Diagnosis Program. He instructs courses in group and social systems for psychiatry residents and psychology students.
Dr. Bair's research interests include empirical measurement of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury with eye tracking technology; anxiety disorders, PTSD and addictions. He has done extensive studies addressing measurement of authority relations in groups and social systems with Q-sort methodology, process analysis of leadership and membership patterns in groups and social systems, and covert dynamics in cyberspace communications.
