Vice Dean for Medical Education; Professor of Medicine
Provides leadership, oversight, and direction for all activities related to medical education including curriculum, grading and evaluation, teaching skills and strategies.
Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Instruction; Instructor of Medical Education
Provides leadership, planning, coordination, and guidance to the CMS curriculum. Works closely and cooperatively with leadership and faculty of the Departments of Foundational Sciences and Humanities and Clinical Sciences, and the CMS Curriculum Committee.
Assistant Dean of Clinical Education; Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine
Supports M3 and M4 students in their clinical clerkships and electives.
Assistant Dean for Basic Science Education; Vice Chair of Foundational Sciences & Humanities
Provides assistance with curriculum and coursework for the M1 and M2 years. Also oversees STEP 1 advising and preparatory program to ensure student success.
Director of Assessment and Interprofessional Education
Provides support for assessing and evaluating medical education M1-M4 Year. This includes medical education trends, accreditation, assessment, and best evaluation practices. Reviews current courses for interprofessional components, assists faculty in developing interprofessional formats for courses shared with students from other professions, and promotes interprofessional experiences for students.
Director of Accreditation and Quality Improvement
Assesses and directs a wide range of accreditation and quality improvement activities, including maintenance of LCME programmatic accreditation, oversight of the program's Standards Based Continuous Quality Leadership (SBCQL) Council, strategic planning, policy oversight, educational data analysis, and other projects as needed.
Director of Curriculum Management
Manages various databases related to evaluation and assessment, including all required M1-M4 end-of-course surveys, USMLE/NBME score reports, and clinical clerkship performance dashboards. Also serves as the NBME Executive Chief Proctor and can assist with troubleshooting, proctoring best practices, and related policies.
Director of Clinical Education Management, Phase II/III
Oversees M3/M4 registration and student progression as well as M4 education requirements and resources for M4 scheduling, course plans, and grades.
Coordinator, Medical Student Registration & Onboarding
Provides onboarding for all students for CMS, ensuring that students are compliant and assisted with any questions or concerns regarding clinical rotations.
Administrative Coordinator
Assists in Phase I and II exam proctoring, Phase I course registration for all CMS students, and M2 elective and registration and coordination. Also schedules and coordinates all Phase II students for Clinical Skills Exam.
Administrative Coordinator, Curricular Resources
Executes multi-level administrative support to CMS Curriculum Committee and associated Sub-Committees. Tracks and oversees open action items and annual recurring items. Facilitates the production of course syllabus and competency maps. Coordinates comprehensive reviews of course/clerkship/sub-i syllabus, in collaboration with subcommittees and course directors. Serves as Chief Proctor for NBME exams.
Administrative Coordinator, M4 Education
Executive Administrative Assistant
Assists the department of Medical Education in most administrative functions. Manages the Vice Dean's calendar for meetings with students, faculty, and staff. Schedules travel arrangements for conference registration and hotel/air booking as needed and prepares department budget reports.
